About the job
JOB SUMMARY
At Marriott, you can be a part of something bigger than yourself. As part of the world’s largest hotel company, you will be where you can do your best work, begin your purpose, belong to an amazing global team, and become the best version of you.
As Senior Manager, People Brand Activation & Social Media, you’ll lead Marriott’s global people brand social media strategy and hands-on daily delivery, bringing Be, Marriott’s people brand, to life for prospective talent. Working within established People Brand strategy, creative standards, and narrative approvals, you’ll translate our employer value proposition (EVP) into compelling content that builds employer consideration, engages talent, and connects audiences with career opportunities. You’ll create and publish content, including on social media and our Life at Marriott blog, manage community responses, optimize channel performance, and deliver Centennial social activation. You’ll also equip the Marriott People Brand Network through scheduled training, reusable content, templates, and activation guidance; local teams retain local execution and people management. In partnership with the global storytelling lead, Talent Acquisition, Global Communications and Public Affairs, Marketing, and brand, property, and regional teams, you’ll connect approved stories and campaigns with talent-audience needs.
How success will be measured:
-
Consistent, relevant, on-brand social publishing against agreed channel priorities and delivery commitments
-
Meaningful engagement and relevant audience growth, with social-driven careers-site traffic and defined candidate actions measured where data is available; contribution to applications and hires assessed with partners rather than treated as sole accountability
-
Timely, accurate, on-brand community responses within agreed coverage arrangements, with consistent moderation and appropriate escalation of sensitive issues
-
Delivery of scheduled People Brand Network training and activation guidance, with participation, content reuse, and toolkit adoption used to improve enablement
