Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Corporate Development Director - Digital Product role leads corporate development for Intuitive’s Digital business unit, translating the Digital strategy into external growth opportunities. The role owns the transaction lifecycle—from sourcing and evaluation through negotiation, closing, and integration planning—across strategic equity investments, partnerships, co-marketing and co-development agreements, in- and out-licensing, and M&A. Success requires close partnership with Digital, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and other business leaders to advance Intuitive’s technology platforms, products, and long-term strategic position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Lead cross-functional evaluation of external technology opportunities for strategic, commercial, and product fit with Intuitive’s Digital business. •    Own transactions end to end, including outreach, business cases, structuring, negotiation, due diligence, contracting, integration planning, and closing. •    Partner with product and technology teams to understand roadmaps, priorities, capability gaps, and external development needs. •    Partner with Strategy, Finance, and business leaders to shape and execute M&A strategy for Digital technologies. •    Represent Intuitive’s strategic interests externally and provide senior leaders and the Board with deal updates, recommendations, risks, and decisions required. •    Manage post-transaction partner relationships to support strategic objectives, governance, and integration or collaboration plans. •    Keep stakeholders informed of transaction status, partner relationships, key risks, upcoming decisions, and required actions. •    Perform other duties as assigned.
