Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Perrysville, OH Pay: $18.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are hiring a Forklift Operator for a full-time 2nd shift position in Perrysville, OH. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, safety-focused individual with forklift experience who is looking for steady weekday work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the facility while supporting daily warehouse and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and transport materials and products.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles as needed.
• Properly stage and organize materials, products, and inventory.
• Assist with inventory control and material organization.
• Follow proper forklift operating procedures and all company safety policies.
• Perform routine checks of forklift equipment and report any safety or equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and team members.
• Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed.
• Follow all company procedures and maintain a strong focus on workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials as required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to safely work around forklifts, warehouse equipment, materials, and moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
