What You Will Do:

We have an opportunity for a Manager, GTF MRO Industrial Readiness (P5) within our Aftermarket Operations – Commercial Engines business. In this role, you will report to the Associate Director responsible for the GTF MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) industrial readiness across Pratt & Whitney engine centers and global partners. You will lead the development and execution of the GTF readiness plan for MRO facilities, ensuring alignment with operational cost and quality objectives.

Where You Will Work From: The person in this role will be based and work from one of the following Pratt & Whitney sites:

  • East Hartford, CT (Preferred Site)
  • West Palm Beach, FL
  • Columbus, GA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee upgrade and overhaul readiness across Pratt & Whitney engine centers and global partners in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Manage industrialization projects across the MRO network to ensure operational efficiency and readiness.
  • Analyze Disassembly, Assembly, and Test (DAT) capacity and strategy to support program requirements.
  • Communicate emerging issues to MRO network industrial teams and coordinate responses and actions.
  • Support and address relevant DAT requests to ensure operational success.
  • Coordinate with the Program Office and Engineering teams to align on key performance indicators (KPIs) and data flow.
  • Provide strategic support for engine induction planning and resource allocation.
  • Actively participate in Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) and Advanced Integrated Product Team (AIPT) meetings.
  • Establish sustainable processes and ensure process discipline across the organization.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and address resource gaps to meet operational goals.
  • Maintain regular communication with key partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

What You Will Learn

  • Develop a deeper understanding of commercial GTF turbine engine hardware, including Fan, LPC, and HPC components.
  • Build cross-functional leadership skills by working with engineering and business organizations to solve problems and achieve shared program objectives.
  • Strengthen your ability to use data-driven analysis, risk management, and problem-solving to identify issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Develop proficiency in project planning and execution tools while gaining exposure to program financial management, forecasting, and integrated master scheduling.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Project Management and/or Technical role within an Aftermarket, MRO or Aerospace industry; OR Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Degree in a STEM field, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or another technical field.
  • Knowledge of commercial aftermarket business ideally in Repair Station MRO environment, particularly in turbine engine Disassembly, Assembly and Test (DAT) environment.
  • Experience interpreting contracts, long-term agreements (LTAs), technical data, engine manuals, and regulatory requirements.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) and experience managing projects.
  • Process improvement experience and certifications (e.g., LEAN, CORE, ACE, or Six Sigma).
  • Experience working with SAP Procurement and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
