Responsibilities

Complexity Reduction – This role would focus on execution and escalation. A key member on many projects that require documentation and mapping
-
Identify and implement strategies to reduce complexity costs while improving product consistency including digital automated workflows (Microsoft Power Platform), data management – storage, migration, access.

Process Alignment and Leadership – Manage and develop standards, procedures and processes to enhance consistency and efficiency across Coil

Critical knowledge capture

Creating and arranging the onboarding and training resources through the Coil and Extrusion Sharepoint site

Creating/sustaining a workflow for process owners to acknowledge needs for update and republication

Facilitating instruction creation in a defined and consistent format for publication and divisional use

Organize and conduct training forums to enhance the skills and knowledge of the technical team

Lead efforts to document and capture Coil Technical historical knowledge, ensuring vital information is readily accessible.

Promote and manage knowledge-sharing tools (e.g. Sharepoint, PowerApps, etc) within the company to enhance usability and effectiveness.

Benchmark other business units digital tools, systems to leverage best practices

Completes on-site process follow ups to develop necessary procedures.

Works with QE Managers and Technicians to facilitate process adherence to divisional work instructions through audit and compliance

Performs process verification audits when required by an internal investigation or recent QE/CI process changes and reports results at various levels of the organization. Technical or Customer focused

KPI data maintenance and dashboarding. Completes monthly data reporting as requested.

Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

When needed, visits customers and Technical labs to better understand customer conditions, background work on projects, and impacts of process variance.

Lead Quality Excellence focused projects as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements • Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status) • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must have a Technical Writing Degree or BS in Chemistry or related field • 4-5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality/Assurance, Process/Continuous Improvement or related field • Technical writing skills • Experience working with Office 365 including Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, MS power platform (power apps, power automate, dataverse) • Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications • MS Planner, MS forms, MS Stream and Clip Champ, MS Lists
