About the job

Position Summary

As a Vice President, Business Process Manager within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will join the Relationship Management team within the Service organization, serving as a cross-functional connector across Service, Operations, Product, Controls, and Advisor-facing teams.  This role strengthens operational partnerships, manages product demand, translates feedback into actionable themes, and drives resolution of issues impacting the advisor and client experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong operator and relationship manager who can navigate complex processes, identify owners and escalation paths, connect the right stakeholders, and turn recurring pain points into clear priorities and measurable improvements.

Job Responsibilities

Operations Partnership & Issue Management

  • Own relationships with key Operations partners and maintain a strong understanding of critical processes, handoffs, dependencies, failure points, and escalation paths impacting Service, advisors, and clients.
  • Identify and address recurring operational pain points by supporting root-cause analysis, tracking risks and remediation activities, driving resolution, and reviewing outcomes to reduce recurrence.

Product Book of Work Management

  • Manage the Service organization’s product book of work, including enhancement requests, new functionality, advisor pain points, and service center priorities.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and Service leadership to define business needs, prioritize demand, and track requirements, dependencies, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Prepare clear updates for governance forums, leadership discussions, and cross-functional working sessions.

Advisor & Service Center Feedback Management

  • Manage and analyze feedback from advisors, service center teams, and relationship management partners to identify recurring friction, service challenges, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate feedback into actionable insights and partner across Service, Product, Operations, and Communications to escalate and resolve high-impact themes.

Business Issues & Correction Activities

  • Support business-led correction activities, partnering with Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Service to define impacted populations, requirements, timelines, dependencies, and execution plans.
  • Coordinate execution, documentation, stakeholder alignment, status reporting, and escalation while supporting post-correction reviews to identify improvements and reduce recurrence risk.

Required  Qualifications

  • Strong process management skills, including the ability to understand complex workflows, identify gaps, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Proven issue-resolution discipline, including root-cause orientation, escalation management, action tracking, and follow-through.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility across departments, functions, and leadership levels.
  • Ability to translate ambiguity, feedback, and operational friction into clear business needs, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, accountability, and attention to detail; able to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders independently.
  • Risk and control mindset, including sound judgment, documentation discipline, escalation awareness, and understanding of applicable policies and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics into leadership-ready materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Wealth Management, financial services, Service, Operations, Product, Risk, Controls, or an Advisor-facing support environment.
  • Experience supporting governance forums, executive-level materials, cross-functional working sessions, or initiatives requiring influence without direct authority.
  • Experience with SharePoint, issue tracking tools, workflow management platforms, reporting tools, feedback repositories, or data analysis.
  • FINRA Series 7 or Series 99 preferred, but not required
