Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

The Wealth & Asset Management Solutions (WAMS) team is part of the Wealth, Advice, Bank and Trust (WABT) enterprise. The WAMS team also reports to and has responsibility for the distribution of Schwab Asset Management (SAM) and Schwab Investment Platforms, Products and Strategy (SIPPS) products, solutions, and platforms. The WAMS team is responsible for the distribution and support of proprietary and select third-party asset management products and services across multiple channels. The team also supports the marketing of these solutions in partnership with Offer Management, Product, and Marketing teams.

We are looking for an experienced enablement leader to serve as Senior Manager, WAMS Retail Enablement. This senior individual-contributor role will translate Retail strategy into coordinated execution, change management, field readiness, and sustained adoption. Reporting to the Head of Distribution Strategy, the Senior Manager will be responsible for enablement across the WAMS Retail and Income Solutions business while connecting execution priorities to the broader WAMS and enterprise strategy.

The Senior Manager will bring deep expertise in field activation, engagement tactics, tools, systems, and processes to turn strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes. The role will build alignment among WAMS leaders and enablement partners across Schwab while collaborating closely with the Director, WAMS Retail Strategy throughout the initiative lifecycle to establish clear roles, coordinated handoffs, and shared accountability for outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Lead execution and readiness for the Retail business, with responsibility for change management, implementation planning, field readiness, adoption, and ongoing reinforcement of strategic priorities.

  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in Retail engagement tactics, tools, systems, processes, and procedures, using those insights to strengthen distribution effectiveness and the field experience.

  • Translate channel goals, objectives and key results, strategic roadmaps, and key initiatives into clear execution plans, milestones, dependencies, communications, training, and readiness activities.

  • Drive field activation for key initiatives, including product launches and stage-gated releases, and serve as a respected voice on rollout approach, timing, and adoption considerations.

  • Lead relationships with WAMS channel leaders and enablement partners, including Field Enablement, Marketing, Sales Support, Product and Offer Management, and other enterprise teams needed to deliver coordinated outcomes.

  • Partner closely with the Director, WAMS Retail Strategy throughout the initiative lifecycle, establishing clear roles, coordinated handoffs, and shared accountability for outcomes.

  • Track execution against channel goals, objectives and key results, roadmaps, and initiative plans; capture field feedback, assess adoption and business impact, and communicate progress, risks, and results to leadership.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, simplify processes, and promote consistency across the Retail business while connecting channel-specific execution to broader WAMS and enterprise priorities.
