About the job

Join a team where your event expertise shapes standout experiences for advisors, employees, leaders, and strategic supplier partners. You’ll own high-impact programs end to end while building scalable, repeatable operating practices.

As a Senior Associate, Supplier Event Strategy and Operations in Chase Travel Group, you own complex, multi-day events from intake through onsite execution and closeout. You manage detailed project plans, budgets, vendors, and contract workflows while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and supplier sponsors. You also coach an Associate supporting event operations to help deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes across the portfolio.

Job responsibilities

  • Own assigned events from intake and scoping through planning, onsite delivery, reconciliation, and post-event reporting
  • Translate event objectives into detailed workback plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, approvals, and contingency plans
  • Lead cross-functional planning rhythms, readiness reviews, action tracking, and escalation of risks or blockers while coordinating across Marketing, Communications, leadership, advisors/ITAs, supplier partners, production vendors, photography/video teams, and other key stakeholders
  • Coordinate event logistics including venue sourcing, site inspections, lodging operations, ground transportation, food and beverage, room sets, gifting, signage, shipping/receiving, staffing, rentals, and security coordination when needed
  • Build and organize event content, agendas, run-of-show documentation, staffing plans, vendor expectations, and escalation paths for complex, multi-day recognition and educational events while serving as a lead onsite operator
  • Manage event budgets, forecasts, committed spend tracking, variance logs, and practical tradeoffs to stay within guardrails
  • Drive vendor proposal reviews, scope alignment, cost challenges, and decision documentation
  • Own end-to-end contract processes, including request initiation, scope completion, review/approval coordination, signature routing, milestone tracking, and audit-ready recordkeeping
  • Partner with supplier stakeholders to shape sponsorship engagement opportunities and manage fulfillment timelines, assets, and deliverables
  • Oversee attendee experience workflows including registration approach, lists, travel and rooming coordination, special requests, and attendee communications
  • Coach and direct an Associate by assigning work, reviewing outputs, removing blockers, and improving team execution standards

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of progressive experience in corporate event management, experiential programs, meetings and events, hospitality, supplier engagement, or a related field
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience planning and delivering complex, multi-day events with senior leaders, multiple internal partners, and external vendors
  • Advanced, hands-on experience with Monday.com, including boards, dashboards, forms, automations, dependencies, templates, and workflow reporting
  • Experience managing event budgets, forecasts, proposals, invoices, payment schedules, reconciliation, and financial closeout
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously, drive disciplined follow-up, coordinate review and approval cycles, and escalate delays early
  • Experience managing vendors such as venues, hotels, production partners, registration partners, speakers, and sponsors
  • Strong project management discipline and comfort working in detailed trackers, budgets, and operating documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready updates and clear vendor guidance
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining follow-through
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including during peak planning and execution periods

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in travel, hospitality, financial services, recognition programs, supplier relations, or sponsorship-supported events
  • Experience creating sponsorship packages and managing sponsor benefits through full fulfillment
