About the job

Standard Job Description

You will be the Business Process Analyst Manager within Production Planning & Control (PP&C) at Lockheed Martin's Camden, Arkansas facility. In this role, you will lead a team of Business Process Analysts responsible for supporting, improving, and sustaining the business processes, systems, and operational capabilities essential to manufacturing execution.

This position provides leadership across a broad range of PP&C business functions, including receiving, material management, production planning, inventory control, logistics, shipping, DD250 processes, and enterprise system support. You will be responsible for developing a high-performing team of subject matter experts, driving process standardization, resolving operational challenges, and supporting continued transformation through initiatives such as 1LMX, SAP S/4HANA, Apriso, and automated storage and retrieval systems.

The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with operational knowledge, technical aptitude, and the ability to influence across functional organizations. This role requires someone who can establish priorities, create accountability, develop talent, and translate complex business challenges into sustainable solutions that support Camden's growing production demands.

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Business Process Analysts supporting Camden PP&C and manufacturing operations.
  • Establish team priorities, workload distribution, functional ownership, and accountability to ensure effective support across programs and operational areas.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for business process execution, troubleshooting, improvement, and sustainment across PP&C functions.
  • Support the implementation, integration, stabilization, and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems, including SAP S/4HANA, Apriso, and other applications supporting manufacturing execution.
  • Drive standardization of business processes, work instructions, system transactions, and operational practices across programs and facilities.
  • Lead efforts to identify process gaps, system issues, recurring discrepancies, and operational inefficiencies while coordinating sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner with Production Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and other organizations to resolve cross-functional challenges and improve business performance.
  • Oversee BPA involvement in system testing, deployments, hypercare, process validation, and ongoing system sustainment activities.
  • Establish and maintain clear functional responsibilities, escalation paths, and communication channels between BPAs, operational teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop training strategies, cross-training opportunities, and knowledge-sharing practices to strengthen organizational capabilities and reduce reliance on individual subject matter experts.
  • Monitor process performance, system effectiveness, and recurring issues to identify improvement opportunities and measure results.
  • Support business transformation initiatives, new operational capabilities, and changing production requirements as Camden continues to expand.
  • Serve as a key leadership point of contact for BPA-related issues, business process changes, and operational system challenges.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, problem-solving, and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Production Planning & Control, manufacturing operations, supply chain, business process analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading employees, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing enterprise business systems in a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges and drive solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, establish priorities, and coordinate activities across multiple functional organizations.
  • Ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday, as operational requirements dictate.

Desired Skills

  • Previous people management experience, including employee development, performance management, succession planning, and building high-performing teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Apriso, and 1LMX business processes and system functionality.
  • Comprehensive understanding of most aspects of PP&C operations, including receiving, inventory management, buy planning, production planning, shipping, logistics, and DD250 processes.
  • Experience supporting major system implementations, including testing, deployment, hypercare, and post-implementation sustainment.
  • Demonstrated success leading business process transformation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience developing subject matter experts, implementing cross-training strategies, and establishing functional ownership across an organization.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple manufacturing sites, programs, or functional organizations to resolve enterprise-level business challenges.
  • Familiarity with the relationships between PP&C, Finance, Quality, Engineering, Production Operations, and Supply Chain within a complex manufacturing environment.
