About the job

Join JPMorgan Chase's Document & Business Solutions and lead teams that power our global operations! As a Supervisor within Document & Business Solutions (DBS), you’ll promote essential mail, print, messenger services in a dynamic environment, championing innovation, accountability, and team development. If you’re passionate about operational excellence and ready to make a meaningful impact, DBS offers the platform to advance your leadership career.

You will work across DBS production environments/locations (4 within NY Midtown area) as needed to meet business demand and customer commitments. This is not a desk-only supervisory role—candidates must be able to lead and also perform end-to-end mail/print/messenger production activities as operational backup when required. Ensure smooth evening operations, including inventory, shredding, supply replenishment, evening courier coverage, and confirming all incoming Metro tech requests are accounted for and handed off properly between teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the evening courier vendor and pitch book printing requests requiring delivery; coordinate MetroTech-to-Midtown deliveries and all 270 services, including food delivery, toner replenishment, and shred services. This role will be a split second-shift position starting at 1:00 PM.
  • Operate with leadership for services (mail, print production, messenger), ensuring daily workflow runs smoothly (capacity, performance, quality, escalations) and meeting DBS standards/SLAs.
  • Proactively set daily operational priorities, assign work, and coordinate coverage to meet service expectations.
  • Operational management & continuous improvement: implement new services/projects, maintain local procedures, manage inventory/fulfillment and logistics, keep advanced tracking/reporting (Excel), and drive process improvements.
  • Directly manage team performance by setting expectations, providing ongoing coaching, delivering feedback, and applying corrective action when required.
  • Controls, compliance, and safety: identify and correct non-compliant activities, ensure site Health & Safety, and safeguard confidential/personal information.
  • Client/stakeholder management: build relationships, respond to service needs, and resolve complex inquiries/escalations (mail research, discrepancies).
  • Directly manage team performance by setting expectations, providing ongoing coaching, delivering feedback, and applying corrective action when required.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Proven end-to-end operations experience in high-volume print production environments, with the ability to step into production roles as needed.
  • 5+ years’ experience in high volume professional printing.
  • 5+ years’ experience in team management or equivalent demonstrated leadership in operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), including comfort retrieving/sorting data in Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision, prioritize, and follow through in fast-paced production environments.
  • Strong customer service mindset and professional stakeholder communication.
  • Detail- and deadline-oriented; high standards for confidentiality and controls.
  • Prior people leadership experience in an operations environment, including direct supervision or acting supervisor/team lead responsibilities.
