Assistant Vice President Enterprise Transformation

Onsite

Your experience matters

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Enterprise Transformation is an advanced, highly specialized position - responsible for partnering with the Organization leaders to shape, prioritize, and execute the organization’s most consequential strategic, operational, and business model initiatives.

The AVP converts enterprise priorities into integrated transformation roadmaps, rigorous business cases – that reflect executive decisions, and measurable financial, operational, clinical, and organizational outcomes. This leader brings sophisticated consulting disciplines, exceptional analytical and financial acumen, and the executive presence required to influence decisions and mobilize action across a complex, matrixed healthcare organization.

The AVP will provide leadership across a portfolio of high-priority initiatives, ensuring each effort is strategically aligned, analytically sound, and governed with discipline, and positioned to deliver sustained value. The role will guide transformation opportunities to include identification and hypothesis development through solution design, implementation, and benefit realization. This role will also assist with transition to business ownership. The AVP will also identify and incubate new opportunities that strengthen the operating model, improve performance, enhance capabilities, and create long-term enterprise value.

This position will serve as a trusted advisor to executives, lead multidisciplinary teams, develop other transformation professionals, and execute repeatable methods that increase the organization’s capacity to manage change. Success requires the ability to operate independently in ambiguity, challenge assumptions constructively, synthesize complex information, and communicate clear recommendations that enable timely executive action.

How you’ll contribute

  • Execute leadership enterprise priorities, portfolio choices, sequencing, investment requirements, risks, interdependencies, and opportunities to accelerate value creation.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across business, operations, finance, clinical, technology, and functional areas; align stakeholders around enterprise outcomes and translate strategy into executable commitments.

  • Lead complex transformation initiatives from diagnostic assessment through implementation and value realization, including hypothesis development, quantitative analysis, solution design, business case creation, operating model design, implementation planning, and transition to accountable business owners.

  • Own the integrity of benefit cases and value tracking by validating assumptions, establishing baselines and leading indicators, partnering with Finance on benefit realization, and initiating corrective action when performance is at risk.

  • Mobilize and lead cross-functional teams through significant operating model, process, technology, capability, and behavioral change; establish clear accountability and remove barriers that span functions, markets, and business units.

  • Identify and shape new enterprise opportunities by framing ambiguous problems, testing strategic hypotheses, conducting market and internal analyses, sizing value, assessing feasibility, and presenting investment recommendations to executive decision-makers.

  • Influence senior stakeholders through fact-based recommendations, compelling executive communications, and constructive challenge; facilitate decisions where priorities, incentives, or perspectives differ.

  • Develop transformation talent and organizational capability by coaching team members, setting high standards for analytical and delivery quality, codifying methods and tools, and strengthening enterprise-wide change leadership practices.

  • The position will work with internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.

  • Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA) standards.
