About the job

Overview

We’re hiring Material Handlers for a growing, modern consumer packaged goods manufacturing facility.

This is a brand new, clean, air-conditioned, and growing facility. Team members work in the warehouse supporting daily production operations by moving materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring production teams have the supplies they need. There are multiple schedules available, with opportunities to cross-train across different areas and expand their skills over time.

What makes this role different:

  • Modern facility: Work in a newer, clean, air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
  • Cross-training: Learn different warehouse and material handling processes while building a broader manufacturing skillset.
  • Clear Promotion Path: A promote-from-within culture that can lead to advancement into other warehouse or production positions.

Compensation

  • Starting at $20.05/hr, with a $1.00/hr shift differential
  • Full-time, direct-hire – not a temp job
  • Full benefits

Shift

Multiple schedules are available, including:

  • 2nd shift (12-hour): 6pm – 6am

You will work on average 42 hours per week on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate a standup forklift to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Unload incoming ingredient deliveries, verify materials, and load finished goods onto outbound trucks.
  • Production Staging: Stage and backstage raw materials to production lines to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Inventory Management: Complete accurate daily cycle counts and participate in monthly physical inventory counts.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all shift documentation, follow daily standard work, and return required warehouse documents and charts at the end of each shift.
  • Safety and GMP Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) when handling, storing, and moving materials.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production support area, including adjacent work areas.
  • Operational Efficiency: Stay organized and manage time effectively to keep materials flowing and minimize production downtime.
