About the job

As a** Construction Senior Manager, **you'll lead a team responsible for bringing Best Buy's retail and non-retail spaces to life. You'll oversee complex projects ranging from store remodels and relocations to distribution centers, specialty facilities, and large-scale transformation programs. In this role, you'll coach and develop a high-performing team, manage significant capital investments, and partner across the business to deliver projects safely, on time, on budget, and with a great experience for customers and employees.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.**

What you'll do **- Lead and develop a team of Construction Project Managers and Coordinators.

Oversee multiple construction projects from planning through completion.
Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and financial performance.
Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
Drive accountability with contractors, vendors, and third-party project partners.
Identify risks, solve complex challenges, and continuously improve project execution.**

Basic qualifications **- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

7+ years of leadership experience in construction, architecture, or engineering.
7+ years managing construction projects, contractors, and vendor relationships.
7+ years working in a retail environment and partnering across multiple business functions.
Proven experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams**

Preferred qualifications **- Experience managing large capital budgets and construction portfolios.

Knowledge of commercial building development and construction codes.
Experience with remodels, expansions, relocations, and new-build projects.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, CAD, or similar construction tools.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.**
