This role independently leads delivery across two to three technology teams and partners with the Business Relationship Management (BRM) team, technical teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and leadership to move initiatives predictably from planning through execution, release, and operational transition. Reporting to the Technology Delivery Project Manager, the Sr. Technology Delivery Project Lead is an experienced individual contributor who operates with limited supervision and serves as a trusted delivery partner for complex initiatives. This role facilitates alignment across teams, manages delivery risks and dependencies, supports informed decision-making, and coordinates readiness throughout the delivery lifecycle. The Sr. Technology Delivery Project Lead works within established Technology Delivery practices and governance expectations while adapting delivery approaches to the needs of individual initiatives. The role provides feedback, recommendations, and lessons learned from execution to support continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Apply established delivery gates, readiness standards, and execution practices to ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, UAT planning, documentation, training, communications, and operational readiness are addressed throughout the initiative lifecycle. 2.    Coordinate UAT and release activities with BRM, business stakeholders, and technical teams, including test planning, defect triage, retesting, business validation, cutover planning, operational handoff, and post-release stabilization. 3.    Coordinate delivery activities across two to three technology teams, clarifying ownership, facilitating collaboration, tracking cross-team dependencies, and supporting timely decisions. 4.    Establish and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, decision points, risks, assumptions, and readiness expectations for assigned initiatives. 5.    Facilitate initiative refinement and delivery-readiness activities, including scope clarification, acceptance criteria review, dependency identification, Definition of Ready discussions, and alignment on execution expectations. 6.    Facilitate retrospectives within assigned initiatives, identify recurring themes and improvement opportunities, and share recommendations with the Manager, Technology Delivery to support improvements in collaboration, visibility, and delivery predictability. 7.    Lead delivery for complex, cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple teams, business functions, vendors, dependencies, and competing priorities. 8.    Maintain accurate delivery information in Azure DevOps or a comparable delivery platform, including work items, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, status, delivery health, and forecast changes. 9.    Monitor and communicate delivery health, risks, resource constraints, scope changes, schedule impacts, capacity conflicts, and competing priorities. Escalate issues appropriately and present options and tradeoffs when decisions are needed. 10.    Partner with BRM, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate approved priorities into executable delivery plans. 11.    Prepare clear and consistent delivery updates for stakeholders and leadership, including progress, upcoming milestones, delivery health, risks, dependencies, forecast changes, and decisions needed. 12.    Provide feedback, lessons learned, and recommendations from assigned initiatives to support improvements in delivery governance, methodology, reporting, tools, and team practices led by the Manager, Technology Delivery. 13.    Provide peer support to Delivery Managers by sharing practical delivery techniques, templates, tools, and lessons learned, and serve as an informal escalation point for complex delivery challenges.

Minimum Job Requirements:

1.    8+ years of experience managing complex technology projects, programs, or cross-functional initiatives in an enterprise environment. 2.    Bachelor's degree preferred. PMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable project/delivery certification is preferred. 3.    Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with business and technology stakeholders while maintaining accountability for delivery outcomes. 4.    Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, facilitate alignment across teams, and build accountability for delivery commitments. 5.    Demonstrated experience facilitating initiative refinement, preparing work for execution, coordinating UAT and defect resolution, and supporting release readiness, operational transition, and post-release stabilization. 6.    Demonstrated success independently leading complex technology initiatives involving multiple teams, business functions, vendors, dependencies, and competing priorities. 7.    Exceptional communication, facilitation, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments. 8.    Proven experience managing risks, dependencies, resource constraints, scope changes, delivery tradeoffs, and competing priorities. 9.    Strong experience using Azure DevOps or similar delivery platforms for work management, reporting, planning, and delivery governance. 10.    Strong understanding of enterprise delivery lifecycles and Agile, Kanban, Scrum, or hybrid delivery approaches.
