Overview
We’re hiring a Lead CNC Machinist for 2nd shift at our machine shop. This is a working lead role: you’ll run machines and setups yourself while leading a crew of 4, with 3 other 2nd-shift machinists answering to you. You’ll be the go-to for questions and troubleshooting on the floor, and you’ll also handle basic quality checks for the shift.
What Makes This Opportunity Great
- Lead a Crew: Be the point person for setups, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Run a Range of Equipment: Work on vertical and horizontal mills, Doosan machines with FANUC controls, and Mazaks, all running G-code. Experience with major program edits is a plus, but not required.
- Own Shift Quality: Handle basic on-the-floor inspection as the shift’s QC.
- Keep Production Moving: Track daily production progress and compile it into Excel for the team.
