Position Summary: As a Barber Teacher, you will play a key role in educating the next generation of barbers. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality instruction in barbering skills and techniques, fostering a positive learning environment, and guiding students as they progress through their training.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cover practical and theoretical aspects of barbering.
- Teach students various barbering techniques, including cutting, styling, and grooming.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Create a supportive and inspiring classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Stay current with industry trends and integrate relevant techniques and tools in your teaching.
- Participate in school events and community engagement initiatives.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- An active Illinois State Barbering Educator License is required.
- Experience in the barbering industry with a strong portfolio of skills preferred.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A passion for education and a dedication to student success.
- Monday through Friday 5:00-10:00pm cst
