Our client is seeking a Senior Oracle Solution Architect for a 6+ month fully onsite contract in Irving, TX .

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Retail MFCS, IMCS, and RESA.
  • Strong understanding of retail merchandising, invoice matching, store operations, sales, inventory, and financial processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail integrations, APIs, REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, SQL/PLSQL, APEX and middleware/integration platforms.
  • Experience leading both functional and technical teams on Oracle Retail implementations.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, solution design, and problem-solving skills.
  • 8–12+ years of Oracle Retail/retail technology experience.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead functional and technical solution design across MFCS, IMCS, and RESA.
  • Understand and design end-to-end retail processes covering merchandising, procurement, invoice matching, store operations, sales, inventory, and financial integration.
  • Lead requirements, fit-gap analysis, configuration, solution design, and architecture decisions.
  • Design and oversee integrations between Oracle Retail and ERP and financial systems.
  • Define and review APIs, batch/file interfaces, data flows, integrations, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure solutions leverage standard Oracle Retail capabilities while minimizing customization.
  • Lead functional and technical teams, conduct design reviews, resolve cross-system issues, and manage dependencies.
  • Support SIT/UAT, deployment, cutover, and production support.
  • Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, integration teams, and enterprise architecture.
  • Mentor team members and ensure adherence to architecture, security, performance, and integration standards.
