Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Experience building and operationalizing governance, operating models, and execution frameworks within large, complex organizations.
  • Proven ability to establish repeatable processes, manage ongoing operations, and drive execution in rapidly evolving environments.
  • Strong knowledge of technology change, portfolio governance, risk management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience creating executive communications, leadership reporting, and decision-support materials.
  • Hands-on expertise using generative AI capabilities (Copilot, Cowork, and similar tools) to accelerate analysis, workflow development, process design, and business outcomes.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work across functions, influence stakeholders, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
  • Help build and operationalize governance, operating models, and execution frameworks for a newly established technology change and investment portfolio function.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated change radar across technology initiatives, including near-term and long-term change, resiliency activities, data migrations, and other major technology schedules.
  • Bring multiple schedules and sources of information together to create a consolidated view of technology change.
  • Apply a risk and governance lens to planned technology activities to identify potential conflicts, dependencies, and areas requiring attention.
  • Evaluate how simultaneous technology activities may interact. For example, identify situations where application changes or deployments could conflict with a planned resiliency test or data center migration.
  • Establish repeatable processes and operating routines that allow the function to move from initial development into sustainable ongoing operations.
  • Leverage knowledge of technology change management frameworks to inform governance and risk decisions without serving as the individual responsible for executing Change Management activities.
  • Analyze portfolio and technology data to develop actionable insights and support leadership decision-making.
  • Create executive-level presentations, reporting, and decision-support materials that translate complex information into clear leadership insights.
  • Partner across technology and business functions to establish governance, influence stakeholders, and drive execution.
  • Use generative AI tools, including Copilot, Cowork, and similar capabilities, to support analysis, prompting, workflow development, process design, and business outcomes.
  • Support broader technology strategy, portfolio governance, organizational effectiveness, and solution delivery activities as the function evolves.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish repeatable processes and manage ongoing operations in rapidly evolving or ambiguous environments.
  • Working knowledge of technology change management frameworks, including how technology changes, deployments, and other major initiatives are governed.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and the ability to use data and portfolio information to identify technology-related risks and dependencies.
  • Experience performing complex data analysis and translating information into business or technology insights.
  • Strong executive communication and reporting capabilities with experience preparing high-level leadership presentations and decision-support materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on familiarity with generative AI, particularly prompting and using tools such as Copilot to accelerate analysis, workflow development, and process design.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders across functions, and deliver with minimal oversight.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within financial services or another large, highly complex organization.
  • Previous experience within a technology organization, particularly technology strategy, technology governance, portfolio management, command center, or technology risk functions.
  • Technical or engineering experience that provides a strong understanding of technology environments is beneficial but is not required to be a hands-on engineer.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and reporting tools or functions.
  • Experience supporting solution delivery and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

  • Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
  • Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Technology Business Services Consulting business solutions.
  • Strategically engage with client personnel.
