About the Role As a GenAI Automation Architect, you will make an impact by driving enterprise-wide quality engineering transformation through advanced test automation, Generative AI, and program leadership. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, delivery leaders, architects, and technology teams to accelerate innovation and improve software quality outcomes.

In This Role, You Will: • Lead automation-first quality engineering strategies and transformation initiatives across large-scale programs. • Design and implement scalable automation architectures spanning UI, API, Mobile, and Database testing. • Drive adoption of Generative AI-powered testing solutions using large language models, prompt engineering techniques, and AI-assisted automation practices. • Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to align quality engineering strategies with enterprise transformation objectives. • Lead program planning, execution, governance, risk management, and delivery oversight to ensure successful project outcomes.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC. What You Need to Have to Be Considered • 18+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering with deep expertise in test methodologies, frameworks, and enterprise testing practices. • 10+ years of program and project management experience leading large, complex technology initiatives. • Proven experience driving test automation transformation and establishing automation-first delivery models. • Hands-on knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including large language models, prompt engineering, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development platforms. • Strong experience managing executive and C-level stakeholder communications, strategic planning, governance, budgets, risks, and delivery execution.

These Will Help You Stand Out • Experience implementing AI-driven testing solutions using GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or similar platforms. • Expertise in CI/CD quality engineering practices and DevOps-driven testing strategies. • Experience leading large-scale change management and enterprise technology adoption initiatives. • Strong background in quality engineering transformation consulting and organizational modernization. • General Insurance domain experience.
