This position is responsible for supporting the Aviation Claims Team.  The work activities will include:

  • Serve as primary contact for American Airlines account.
  • Subject matter expert for claim system and processes.
  • Support adjuster with administrative task throughout the claim lifecycle including payment entry, document management, and correspondence.
  • Generate loss runs and create legal matter records for claims in litigation.
  • Back up Senior Manager of Clams Administration on Aviation items when needed.

Position Requirements

  • The candidate must have experience in the insurance industry and the ideal candidate will have experience in Aviation
  • Demonstrate leadership and professionalism for new hires, interns, and Associates to help cultivate the growth mindset within Claims
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but will also look at relevant job experience
  • Demonstrated success of the claims processes, compliance requirements, and strong analytical capability will be important
  • Must have experience with a claims case management system and understand the claims lifecycle.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
