Job Details:

• Provides patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases.
• Collects and labels specimens obtained during surgical procedures.
• Conducts instrument counts prior to surgical procedures.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Conducts field preparation and maintenance.
• Ensures the operating room is sterile.
• Monitors and tracks instrument counts throughout procedures. Maintains surgical instruments in an organized manner.
• Assists the team with safe and efficient operating room turnover times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • N/A

Education:

• Technical/Vocational School in a related field [Required] • Associate in a related field [Preferred]

Field of Study: • N/A

Work Experience: • 2+ work experience [Required] • 2+ years of technical experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR Technician in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) [Required]
• Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $130.00 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
