Job Description:

Jr Art Director

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Jr. Art Director with an eye and passion for design to help generate consumer facing product content for multiple platforms and experiences.

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000

This role is hybrid:  3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Office Location:  Los Angeles, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with our creative, account, strategy and production teams to concept and create bold, industry–leading consumer content programs

  • Help to develop visual direction for content live action, still imagery & motion design via storyboards / mood boards / style frames (collaborates with Art Directors and the Creative Director)

  • Use channel strategy, insights, and business objectives to form groundbreaking ideas and design decisions that make a real impact on the target audience for each project.

  • Bring ideas and strategic thinking to creative execution to drive results

  • Understanding the application of Brand systems for consistency and integrity of the creative vison (both online and offline)

  • Attend and contribute to photo and video shoots

  • Participate in regular creative reviews and embrace constructive feedback

  • Manage clean working files for seamless collaboration between internal creative team and resources. Not limited to resizing and versioning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design or equivalent experience

  • 1-3 years experience in a creative agency or creative team (an excellent portfolio will be considered as equivalent)

  • Eagerness to learn

  • Able to collaborate within a team structure consisting of fellow creatives, strategists, product specialists, account and project management

  • You have a passion for design, creativity and technology

  • Possess an excellent sensibility for photography, illustration, and typography

  • Understanding of Motion Graphics and/or working with CGI a huge plus but not required

  • A deep attention to detail and a dedication to proper delivery

  • Quick to adapt through proactive problem solving, work with a sense of urgency

  • Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Figma. Experience with AI image creation is a plus

  • Able to work collaboratively with an existing team as well as the skill to work independently on several different projects at once

  • Quick to adapt through proactive problem solving, work with a sense of urgency

  • A strong sense of humility (no ego) and a strong desire to learn new things and grow creatively

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
