The Team:

The Application Development Sustainment Services (ADSS) team supports Treasury Enterprise Application (EA) platform systems that are critical to success of the Department of Treasury mission. The ADSS program provides the contractor support for Communications, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and Development and Modernization (DM&E) efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

As Lead Project Coordinator, Communications and Events, you would help coordinate support for multiple communication campaigns and client event engagements with direct client partnership. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to the customer POCs, stakeholder project managers and event facilities along with various contributing members of the FinCEN organization, advising and engaging the client on key operational execution, tracking, and supporting completion of high-quality deliverables, and assisting with team management tasks. In addition, successful applicants will demonstrate an ability and desire to continually learn new technologies in a changing environment; analytical and problem-solving way of thought; business-oriented mindset; and overall resilient, flexible, and enthusiastic personality. What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead project coordinator for activities supporting event delivery for communication and event projects, coordinating concurrent activities across planning, requirements, event scheduling, communication campaigns, event coordination and facilitation support.

  • Direct project planning and execution activities, maintaining alignment on scope, priorities, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, deliverables, action items, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Serve as a key point of contact between government stakeholders and project and subcontract team, ensuring that stakeholder needs, project priorities, delivery considerations, and outcomes are clearly communicated and addressed.

  • Lead stakeholder meetings, including requirements discussions, planning sessions, feedback reviews, issue resolution, regular contract reporting and operational touchpoints.

  • Independently elicit, clarify, analyze, document, and validate business and end-user requirements, translating identified needs into actionable functional requirements, technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution recommendations.

  • Facilitate collaboration and decision-making among business stakeholders, end users, developers, testers, architects, and other project participants to establish priorities, evaluate solution approaches, resolve questions, and drive work forward.

  • Perform hands-on configuration and development activities when needed, applying platform and project knowledge to translate requirements into effective solutions and advance implementation objectives.

  • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot functional and technical issues, coordinating across the appropriate resources to determine root causes, evaluate impacts, implement resolutions, and validate outcomes.

  • Design, build, and maintain program dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytics that provide operational visibility, respond to stakeholder information needs, and inform project and business discussions.

  • Coordinate project activities, deliverables, decisions, and follow-up across cross-functional teams, proactively identifying dependencies, downstream impacts, delivery concerns, and unresolved actions requiring attention.

  • Provide senior-level project leadership while remaining directly engaged in configuration, business analysis, development, testing, troubleshooting, reporting, and end-user solution delivery.​‌

  • Periodic travel required to support events on-site in domestic locations and up to 1 international event per year.

Basic Requirements:

  • 10+ years of management experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with communication campaigns and event coordination projects.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting federal clients on projects, preferably utilizing Agile methodology.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading multiple teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology related field or business.
  • US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • This position is based on-site in Vienna, VA, with occasional travel.

MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

What you will bring:

  • Experience with govDelivery.

  • Experience leading and facilitating collaboration across business and technical teams.

  • Experience developing and maintaining operational reporting, performance dashboards, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.

  • Experience translating business requirements into solutions.

  • Experience working directly with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate solutions, collect feedback, and validate functionality.

  • Experience supporting Federal government programs and delivery organizations

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and solution approaches to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience supporting Federal government communication campaigns and events with various industry stakeholder representation.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years’ experience managing distributed teams in support of geographically dispersed customers.

  • The ability to proactively communicate with federal clients and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with a shifting landscape.

  • Experience with program standards, leadership, and coordination.

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, SharePoint).

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$98,187.00 - $166,919.00
