Job Description:
Responsibilities Lead the core and extended team for Data Centers and AI Factories, own the governance and serve as the escalation point. Accountable for the commercial and tendering execution of non-transactional systems business. Collaborate with other BUs and Hitachi Group, and partners with Hitachi Energy Marketing and Sales to define system-level value proposition and system-level strategy for Hitachi Energy. Enhance pipeline and business growth offering for solutions. Increase HE product pull through systems. Defines system level roadmap with Product Management. Drives innovation through direct collaboration with R&D at Business Unit level. Ensures integrated portfolio (energy hubs, BESS, etc.). Identifies partners for volume, technology, and scope expansion.
Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Power Systems, Business, or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus. 10+ years of experience in product management, portfolio leadership, system offering or commercial roles within the energy, grid, power electronics, or related technology sectors. Experience working with Hyperscalers, Co-locators, AI Foundation Models and AI infrastructure providers desired. Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams in matrix organizations. Experience working in highly technical business environments with diverse stakeholders and proven leadership by influence. Strong understanding of grid technologies, power electronics, inverter‑based resources, control systems, and industrial hardware/software development processes. Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with executive communication and relationship‑building skills. High level of agility, openness to experimentation, and comfort operating in dynamic, rapidly evolving environments. Passion for innovation, sustainability, and enabling the global energy transition. High level of fluency in English.
