About the job
Job Description
Shape the future of product delivery while crafting solutions that enhance and optimize how engineering teams release software at scale. This is an opportunity to lead meaningful change, influence how technology teams operate, and build lasting governance practices that improve platform health and developer experience across a global organization.
As a Product Delivery Manager at JPMorganChase within the Experimentation Team in Digital Product, you will drive the evolution of feature management practices across the organization. You will lead operational programs that improve feature flag governance, reduce technical debt, standardize release processes, and increase adoption of best practices across engineering teams. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Release Management, Risk, and Controls partners, you will operationalize new platform capabilities and ensure the successful rollout of scalable feature management processes and standards. This role sits at the intersection of platform operations, governance, developer experience, and organizational change management — requiring the ability to influence stakeholders, drive adoption of new operating models, and establish governance practices that enable safe, efficient product delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and performance reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Own operational governance programs that drive adoption of feature management standards, policies, and best practices across engineering organizations
- Lead enterprise initiatives focused on feature flag lifecycle management, including aged flag remediation, technical debt reduction, ownership tracking, and retirement compliance
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to operationalize new platform capabilities such as governance controls, release automation, policy enforcement, standardized templates, and CI/CD integrations
- Develop and execute organizational change management plans to support adoption of new feature management processes, controls, and operating models
- Establish governance metrics, compliance scorecards, and executive reporting to improve platform health, operational discipline, and developer experience
- Facilitate cross-functional working groups, training sessions, and readiness activities to drive awareness, adoption, and process adherence across engineering teams
- Coordinate exception management processes, escalation pathways, and stakeholder communications related to governance controls, release standards, and platform policies
- Support audit, risk, and control activities by partnering with stakeholders to document processes, track remediation actions, and demonstrate adherence to governance requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve control execution, and increase consistency across release and feature management practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on product engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities across complex, multi-team environments
- Experience leading large-scale operational, governance, or process transformation initiatives across multiple technology teams
- Demonstrated success driving organizational adoption of new tools, standards, processes, or operating models in a complex environment
- Strong program management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage dependencies, and drive execution across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience developing governance frameworks, compliance reporting, scorecards, and operational metrics for executive-level audiences
- Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing training materials, organizational readiness plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify process gaps, and develop scalable solutions that improve platform health and governance compliance
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working with feature flag or feature management platforms such as Harness, Split, LaunchDarkly, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting DevOps, CI/CD, release management, platform operations, or developer productivity functions
- Familiarity with technology governance, software delivery controls, operational risk management, and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of organizational change management frameworks and adoption measurement techniques
- Experience using metrics and reporting to drive behavioral change and process adherence across large engineering organizations
