Monitor and guide compliance with federal, state, and local mandates governing English Language Learner services.

Assist with the systematic collection and analysis of language proficiency metrics (e.g., WIDA).

Implement targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 instructional interventions specifically structured for linguistically diverse student populations as directed by the teacher specialist.

Partner with school teams, families, and community stakeholders to promote inclusive school cultures that honor and integrate students' linguistic and cultural identities.

Effective July 1, 2026 Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.88/Hour) Not Highly Qualified Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.88/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or Lane 3 Step 1 ($19.94/Hour) Current/Former Licensed Teacher ( Highly Qualified Information)
