Use rigorous research methodologies appropriate to the candidate’s area of scholarship, which may include quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, longitudinal, intervention, or clinical trial approaches.

Develop competitive research proposals and pursue external funding from federal agencies, foundations, and other research sponsors.

Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications, professional presentations, and other scholarly venues.
