Are you passionate about wine, beer, and creating an exceptional customer experience? Star Market is looking for a Wine & Beer Department Manager to lead department operations, drive sales, and ensure a well-stocked, customer-focused shopping experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail leader who enjoys merchandise planning, inventory management, and sharing product knowledge with customers.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations of the Wine & Beer Department

• Order and maintain inventory to ensure product availability and quality

• Deliver exceptional customer service and product recommendations

• Manage merchandising, displays, and promotional execution

• Monitor department sales, shrink, and expenses

• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and company policies

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Previous retail leadership experience preferred

• Experience with inventory management, ordering, or merchandising preferred

• Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills

• Knowledge of wine, beer, and liquor products preferred

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment

• Must be at least 21 years of age

Pay Transparency:

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range.
