$25.00+ 2nd Shift Cook/Sauce Operator - Lloyd's BBQ

Lloyd's Barbeque (a subsidiary of Hormel Corporation) is looking for a Cook/Sauce Operator at our Mendota Heights facility. Pay for the position starts at $25.00 per hour. The Cook/Sauce Operator's tasks include:

• Abiding by all Lloyd's Barbeque plant safety rules
• Operating a food packaging machine for both pork and beef ribs
• Operating food processing equipment
• Assisting with the coordination and running of a food processing line
• Cooking various products (e.g. ribs, shredded meats, etc.)
• Load/unload product in and out of ovens
• Organize, monitor, and track product removed from cooked ovens
• Performing product inspection checks
• Follow product cook recipes
• Formulate and make sauce for products
• Completing all necessary paperwork correctly and in a timely manner
• Operating an electric Pallet Jack (in-house training provided)
• Relieving other Lloyd's BBQ plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided if relieving a higher pay grade position)
• Following good manufacturing practices (GMP's)
• Perform any and all duties (washroom and production) as assigned by 1st line supervisor.

Requirements of the position include:

• Ability to work safely
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to bend and turn at the waist, squat, reach overhead
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (after being provided training)
• Work in a refrigerated environment (35 -- 45 degrees)
• Good communication skills
• Handle a variety of meat products (including pork)
