About the job

Bring your expertise to JPMorganChase’s Conduct Risk Program. As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new, emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities. We want you to think outside the box, challenge the status quo and strive to be best-in-class.

As a Product Delivery Manager in the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization, you will responsible for providing end-to-end delivery supporting a Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Markets Trade Surveillance portfolio, spanning alert/case investigation workflows, surveillance engine (alert generation) capabilities across rules-based and expanding model-based surveillances, and the data strategy/enablement layer. You will sit at the intersection of traditional delivery discipline and emerging capabilities enabled by AI.  There will be an emphasis on driving innovation, creating AI-enabled products and platform through clear use cases, robust governance and controls, and clear articulation of return on investment. Additionally you will partner closely with Compliance Surveillance, Technology, Data Management, and LOB stakeholders. You will also required to lead and drive how AI/ML is changing product delivery expectations, ways of working, and the ability to prototype and bring solutions to life..

Job Responsibilities

  • Own delivery lifecycle for market surveillance product capabilities: intake → requirements → design → build → test/validation → release → adoption → post-implementation monitoring.  Manage delivery across multiple product modules and workstreams.
  • Drive integrated delivery planning (scope, milestones, critical path, sequencing, dependencies, resourcing, on-time releases), and maintain clear visibility through execution metrics, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and governance routines.
  • Facilitate governance and decision-making forums and ensure timely escalation of delivery trade-offs (timeline vs. scope vs. risk), with decision logs.
  • Partner with surveillance SMEs and other key stakeholders to define and prioritize objectives, then translate prioritized objectives into actionable epics with clear acceptance criteria, test strategies, and implementation playbooks.
  • Partner with Technology scrum / agility leads, to model strong Jira operating disciplines (backlog health, sprint/release hygiene, etc.) and ensure releases meet quality, control, and documentation expectations.
  • Collaborate with Technology leads on architecture decisions, integration patterns, non-functional requirements, and environment readiness.
  • Work with Data Engineering on source onboarding, data quality controls, reconciliation, and observability as well as ensuring security, data privacy, and trust/guardrails are treated as delivery requirements in AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Partner with Data Science/model teams to operationalize models and tuning processes (calibration, thresholds, drift monitoring, performance reporting).
  • Drive delivery across the surveillance engine roadmap (rules-based scenarios and increasingly model-based surveillances), including readiness and ongoing monitoring considerations.
  • Demonstrate hands-on adoption and use of AI tools to accelerate delivery outcomes (rapid prototyping, requirements synthesis, workflow design, documentation acceleration), while maintaining human validation and strong critical thinking.
  • Coordinate release readiness and operational handoffs, including testing, rollout/cutover, training/change enablement, support model, runbooks/monitoring, and adoption/success metrics.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • VP-level experience leading complex cross-functional delivery (multi-team / multi-workstream), with strong program-management discipline (plan, governance, RAID, dependencies, stakeholder management).
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives involving data pipelines, analytics/model components, and user-facing workflows.
  • Deep working knowledge of Agile delivery and Jira (running ceremonies, reporting, portfolio visibility).
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Compliance Surveillance, Technology, Data Management, and periodic LOB stakeholders.
  • Practical fluency with modern product/tech delivery fundamentals (APIs, cloud/data platforms) that underpin scalable solutions.
  • Hands-on AI tool usage to prototype and accelerate delivery (not just conceptual familiarity), with strong judgment and validation practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex industry domains, with either direct experience in trade surveillance, compliance technology, markets, Risk, or financial services, or a proven ability to rapidly learn complex regulatory, controls, data, and technology environments and translate that understanding into effective delivery execution.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate between business, surveillance SMEs, technologists, and quantitative teams.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience delivering in data-centric, platform-based operating models (integrated platforms, open APIs, data sharing).
  • Experience moving teams from sporadic experimentation to consistent, embedded AI-enabled practices/tools.
  • Familiarity delivering model-based capabilities (or partnering closely with ML teams) and building appropriate delivery guardrails/oversight as autonomy increases.
  • Direct experience with Trade Surveillance, market abuse surveillance, alert/case management, surveillance engines, model-based detection, compliance technology, or markets/trading workflows.
