Job Summary:
The Business Development Lead will grow L3Harris’ Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) business with domestic Department of War (DoW) and homeland customers. The role owns customer relationships, opportunity identification and shaping for the ForceX and C-UAS portfolio, within the Targeting and Sensor Systems (TSS) sector.
Essential Functions:

Understand the role of DoW Agencies and Federal Enforcement of C-UAS efforts.

Navigate C-UAS funding and contract pathways: PPBE and budget exhibits, urgent needs (UONS/JUONS), Middle Tier Acquisition, OTAs, CSOs, IDIQ task orders, marketplace listings and FMS touchpoints.

Identify, shape and qualify new C-UAS opportunities for the assigned customer set, with the objective of increasing orders, sales and revenue.

Own account management and relationships with new and existing customers, and proactively build contacts across government, prime and industry partners.

Develop and maintain the opportunity pipeline in the L3Harris Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Frame Price-to-Win, PWin and key discriminators for each pursuit and support business cases and phase gate reviews.

Deliver qualified pursuits to the capture and proposal organization through the common capture process and stay engaged on customer relationships through award.

Must be available to travel at least >50% of the year
C-UAS Business

Maintain expert knowledge of the UAS business and portfolio

Track the domestic C-UAS competitive landscape: incumbent primes, non-traditional and venture-backed entrants, and their fielded systems, teaming and pricing behavior.

Translate VAMPIRE program and adjacent ForceX/Aeromet business capabilities into customer-specific value propositions and discriminators.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Active Secret level security clearance
