About the job

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Director, Public Interest based in the United States.

As Associate Director, Public Interest, you will lead strategic sales initiatives to expand access to over-the-counter (OTC) naloxone across assigned states and territories. You will develop and execute public interest channel strategies, building partnerships with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and public health stakeholders. This role combines pharmaceutical sales leadership, contract negotiation, and advocacy to support harm reduction initiatives and improve access to life-saving medication. You will identify new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable growth. By analyzing market trends, public health priorities, and policy developments, you will help shape strategies that balance commercial performance with meaningful public health impact. This position offers the flexibility of fully remote work anywhere in the United States, with a hybrid option for candidates based in Western Michigan or the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Frequent regional travel and occasional visits to company locations are required, and the anticipated start date is January 2027.
