What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in specialist or overlay sales for integration, data, and/or analytics platforms; preferred.

  • Proven success co-selling with Account Executives to exceed ACV/revenue targets; strong hunting and deal acceleration skills.

  • Working knowledge of modern integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, streaming, iPaaS) and analytics/BI architectures.

  • Credibility with executive stakeholders; exceptional storytelling, whiteboarding, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience with public sector procurement, grants/funding, budget cycles, and RFI/RFP processes.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex pursuits; disciplined pipeline management and forecast accuracy (e.g., MEDDICC or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with cloud-native/data technologies (e.g., REST/JSON, containers, orchestration, SQL/ETL tools); Oracle portfolio experience a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field.

Responsibilities

Oracle’s modern data platform empowers institutions to modernize, integrate, and analyze data to improve services and outcomes. As a SLED Integration & Analytics Sales Specialist, you will operate as an overlay seller, working side-by-side with Data Platform AEs and cross-functional teams to drive market adoption and close business. You’ll translate SLED missions into integrated, insight-driven solutions—improving constituent experience, operational efficiency, and student success—while navigating public sector procurement, budget cycles, and compliance.

Overview We are seeking a consultative, outcomes-focused specialist who aligns Oracle’s integration and analytics capabilities—data and app integration, API management, streaming/ETL/ELT, governance, and enterprise analytics/BI—to high-impact SLED use cases. You will build C-suite alignment, craft value propositions, and orchestrate complex pursuits with pre-sales, partners, and industry teams to exceed revenue targets in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal strategy and execution

  • Co-develop pursuit strategies with Data Platform AEs; qualify opportunities, shape scope, and drive to close.

  • Build business cases, ROI/TCO, and executive narratives tied to SLED priorities (constituent services, operational efficiency, student outcomes, public safety, sustainability).

  • Orchestrate end-to-end sales cycles: discovery, solution mapping, demos/POVs, pilots, commercial structuring, and close plans.

  • Pipeline generation

  • Run targeted prospecting plays with AEs and SDRs; activate campaigns/events; expand into new buying centers across agencies, school districts, colleges, and universities.

  • Leverage partner ecosystem to source and progress opportunities.

  • Executive engagement

  • Earn trusted-advisor status with CIOs, CISOs, CFOs, Superintendents, Provosts, and agency leaders; lead value workshops and roadmapping sessions.

  • RFX and public sector process

  • Lead RFI/RFP response strategy; align solutions to requirements; support terms, budgeting, grants/funding, and contracting pathways common in SLED.

  • Cross-functional orchestration

  • Coordinate Pre-Sales/SCs, Product, Consulting, Customer Success, and Industry GBUs; ensure governance, stage hygiene, and forecast accuracy.

  • Thought leadership and enablement

  • Package repeatable SLED use cases and references (e.g., 911/PSAP data integration, health and human services data sharing, student success analytics, transportation telemetry, open data portals).

  • Enable field and partners on Oracle differentiation, security, and compliance posture.
