About the job

At Apple, we focus deeply on our customers’ experience. Apple Ads brings this same approach to advertising, helping people find exactly what they’re looking for and helping advertisers grow their businesses. Our technology powers ads and sponsorships across Apple Services, including the App Store, Apple News, and MLS Season Pass. Everything we do is designed for trust, connection, and impact: We respect user privacy, integrate advertising thoughtfully into the experience, and deliver value for advertisers of all sizes—from small app developers to big, global brands. Because when advertising is done right, it benefits everyone.

Our team's focus is to acquire, onboard, optimize and grow advertisers across the highest value categories on Apple Maps by helping them meet Apple customers in their key moments of discovery and intent. When Apple customers shop local, our clients win. And when our clients win, we win.

With this role, you have a unique opportunity to help bring the recently launched Ads on Apple Maps to market. You will partner with businesses across the highest-value Maps categories throughout the full customer lifecycle, from first outreach and activation to campaign design and ongoing optimization. This segment requires best-in-class partnership to help advertisers achieve their business aspirations. You should have a real passion for helping businesses of all shapes and sizes succeed, strong communication and interpersonal skills and a resourceful, entrepreneurial and team-oriented mindset. You can work independently to meet revenue and business objectives. You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in customer-facing roles, ideally with performance-type advertisers and agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Growth Accounts by driving outreach, activation, onboarding and optimization for the Ads on Apple Maps product.
  • Engage with customers and deliver sales motions anchored with insights and a clear value proposition across both active and inactive clients.
  • Identify and engage decision-making stakeholders across both client and agency teams to align on objectives and media execution.
  • Move opportunities through the planned, pitched, agreed and implemented sales motion phases while maintaining a healthy forward-looking pipeline.
  • Prepare and monitor portfolio and customer success plans aligned to customer objectives and team goals by using AI-assisted insights, tools and workflows and deliver them with expertise.
  • Provide process, product and tooling recommendations that help refine, iterate and scale our sales motions as we continue to grow our customer base, offerings and program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in performance media sales - preferably in account management, customer success or sales for a self-serve platform
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Translate data (internal and external) into insights that drive growth for your clients
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to be onsite; this role is a hybrid position along with regional travel
  • Additional travel may be necessary from time to time, along with flexible work hours including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate product and local advertising expertise in all client interactions
  • Ability to develop initial campaign success across a scaled portfolio of clients, building credibility and trust that lead to longer-term success
  • Innate desire to make a difference, driven by self-motivation and a commitment to excel
  • Ability to maintain a robust pipeline through email, phone and virtual meeting outreach
  • Natural collaborator with a team-oriented mindset, thriving in a dynamic environment
  • Professionalism and a positive demeanor, with a desire to develop business acumen and client-centricity
  • Proficiency in active listening and asking insightful questions for continuous learning
