Position Summary

Producer Development Program | RT Specialty & USLI

RT Specialty, in partnership with USLI, is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Associate to join a unique Producer Development Program designed to develop the next generation of insurance sales and brokerage professionals.

This is not a traditional entry-level sales role. Through a structured two-year development program, you'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience in business development, insurance marketing, agency relationship management, and territory development. You'll work closely with agency partners throughout South Florida, helping them understand insurance solutions, demonstrating quoting capabilities, and building valuable relationships that drive business growth.

We're looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, natural curiosity, and a passion for building relationships. Previous sales experience is not required. Instead, we're seeking candidates who are coachable, ambitious, and excited to build a long-term career in the insurance industry.

In this role, you'll work directly with retail insurance agencies throughout South Florida, building relationships, educating agency partners on insurance solutions, demonstrating quoting capabilities, and identifying new business opportunities. Through a structured two-year development program, you'll gain exposure to wholesale insurance brokerage, carrier partnerships, territory management, and sales strategy while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in insurance production.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are driven, outgoing, coachable, and eager to build a career in a relationship-focused sales environment. Previous sales experience is not required. We are seeking individuals with the ambition, work ethic, and communication skills to develop into future producers and business leaders.

Location: Candidates must be located in or around Tampa, FL and willing to travel Tues-Thurs within the South Florida area.

What will your job entail?

  • Build and maintain relationships with retail insurance agency partners throughout South Florida.
