About the job
Day-to-day responsibilities of this position: Work closely with youth ordered into the care and custody of JJYS Monitor visitors and residents within the facility Schedule and coordinate activities for the youth Assist Supervisors with perimeter checks Resolve potentially dangerous situations to ensure the safety of staff, youth and or the public by applying appropriate intervention techniques to people, facilities and property Transport Youth Multi-tasking: Answering phones, scheduling visits, working the Control Board which opens doors for staff. Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely in writing (read and understand information presented in writing)
