MIG Welder – Multiple Shifts Available
We are looking for skilled MIG Welders to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has experience with MIG welding, can produce high-quality welds, identify and correct weld defects, rework welds when needed, and safely operate robotic welding equipment.
Available Positions & Pay
1st Shift
- Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Possible overtime on Friday
- $15.00/hour + $2.00/hour attendance bonus
2nd Shift
- Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM
- Possible overtime on Friday
- $15.00/hour + $2.00/hour attendance bonus
3rd Shift
- Sunday night–Thursday night, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM
- $15.00/hour + $2.00/hour attendance bonus
MIG Welder Responsibilities & Skills
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on production parts and assemblies.
- Successfully complete and pass a MIG weld test to company quality standards.
- Inspect welds for defects, inconsistencies, and quality issues.
- Detect bad or defective welds and determine the appropriate corrective action.
- Rework and repair welds as needed to meet quality and production requirements.
- Operate and monitor robotic welding equipment.
- Inspect robot-welded parts and perform manual weld rework when necessary.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and make appropriate adjustments to improve weld quality.
- Change and adjust MIG welding settings and parameters as needed.
- Understand how welding settings affect penetration, bead appearance, and overall weld quality.
- Perform more complex weld repairs and rework when required.
- Identify when robot-welded parts require rework and make the necessary corrections.
- Assist with troubleshooting and improving robotic welding processes.
- Maintain consistent weld quality while meeting production goals.
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate quality or equipment issues to supervisors and production personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass a practical MIG weld test.
- Ability to identify weld defects and perform quality rework.
- Experience operating robotic welding equipment preferred.
- Ability to adjust welding settings and troubleshoot welding issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and production instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work the assigned shift and maintain reliable attendance.
