Brew Brothers is seeking a Cook to prepare and present high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. This position is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipe and presentation standards, maintaining food quality and safety, and supporting an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and specifications.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, ovens, and other food preparation equipment.
- Ensure food is prepared consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Stock and replenish food products and workstation supplies as needed.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
- Follow all health department regulations and company food safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide a positive and professional experience for guests and fellow team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Ability to follow recipes, preparation procedures, and food safety standards.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic food handling, sanitation, and health code requirements.
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, ovens, and other food preparation equipment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to work in a kitchen environment with varying temperatures.
- Must maintain regular attendance and demonstrate reliability and accountability.
