About the job

Slice Pizza is seeking energetic team members to prepare and serve high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for preparing pizzas and other menu items, operating a pizza conveyor oven and fryer, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and delivering excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas, appetizers, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment, including a conveyor pizza oven and fryer.
• Assemble food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor food quality, cook times, and portion standards.
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and workstations as needed.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating products using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Work as part of a team to provide friendly and efficient service to guests.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be dependable and maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work safely around hot equipment, including pizza ovens and fryers.
• Ability to work in a kitchen environment with varying temperatures.
