Position Summary

The Commercial Front Load Driver safely operates a front load garbage truck on designated commercial routes throughout the service area. Drivers are responsible for servicing customer containers, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a Commercial Front Load truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Service commercial waste containers according to route schedules.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate route and disposal records.
• Ensure all assigned containers are emptied safely and completely.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, company, and local safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurability requirements.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Previous waste industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
