Aesthetician - Part Time (Paris LV)

About the job

To provide each guest with outstanding and personalized customer service, while providing facials, waxing, make-up and body treatments with high skill set.

Responsibilities

• Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
• Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
• The ability to perform all types of skin care, body treatment, make-up & waxing services with knowledge and high skill set.
• Holds a strong understanding of all skin types with the ability to analyze skin and suggest treatments and retail products for home care.
• Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
• The ability to understand all Salon & Spa services, treatments, and be able to explain each in a clear, precise manner.
• Participate and attend all education classes and staff meetings.
• Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive,  enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members
• Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practices
• Properly care for equipment and products used
• Understands the importance of punctuality
• Ability to compare and contrast the different services on the menu and customize facials or body treatment to meet the individual client’s needs.
• The ability to recommend and up-sell services
• Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately
• Understand the importance and committed to continuing education
• Works unsupervised for extended period of time
• Uphold all protocols for set-up, treatment provided and cleanliness of treatment rooms
• Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well-organized work area
• Maintains spa appearance, cleanliness, a polished look and proper uniform standards.
• Comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress
• Perform other tasks assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed and passed State Board of Cosmetology.
• Two years’ Aesthetician experience in a hotel or resort.
• Fast paced environment.  Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills.
• Must be able to work in a close-knit environment with constant co-worker involvement.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 10-hour shift).
