Job Description

The Daily Personnel is seeking experienced and dependable Make-Ready Technicians to prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents. The ideal candidate will have strong general maintenance skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete apartment turns efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment units for move-in.
• Perform minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Repair drywall, patch holes, and paint walls.
• Replace light fixtures, outlets, blinds, locks, and hardware.
• Inspect and repair appliances as needed.
• Perform minor carpentry and general maintenance.
• Replace faucets, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Complete assigned work orders and apartment punch lists.
• Ensure all units are clean, safe, and move-in ready.
• Communicate with maintenance supervisors regarding completed work.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
