SBI Officer- Alcohol/ Narcotics (Section 22) This position is open only to current Public Safety sworn personnel Principal duties for all sworn investigative personnel at SBI include investigating, assisting with, and managing criminal investigations. The types of investigations commonly conducted by SBI personnel can include death and homicide investigations, person and property crimes, officer-involved critical incidents, cybercrimes, sexual assault, crimes against children, human trafficking, public corruption, fraud, forgery, other white-collar crimes, threat management, gun denial investigations, as well as narcotic and alcohol investigations. Investigative operations and techniques may include undercover operations, management of confidential informants, surveillance, and suppression operations.
