Supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing.

The Event Set Up Supervisor leads and oversees the Event Set Up team who are responsible for setting up meeting spaces according to clients’ needs. This individual also ensures standards are maintained as well as the cleanliness of meeting spaces and pre-function areas.

• Refined verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to regularly move heavy equipment, including stages, tables, and chairs
• Experience and a thorough understanding of Event Set Up operations
• Fulfill a flexible schedule and shift pattern based upon hotel business needs, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays
• Must be able to support Hyatt's purpose by identifying opportunities to display authentic human care to guests and colleagues so they can be their best
