JOB SUMMARY

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for the operation, workflow and employees in all Retail Outlets. The Retail Supervisor ensures that high levels of customer service are executed, maintains asset protection as a high priority, and meets and exceeds revenue goals while managing department expenses.

Responsibilities

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

• Provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally, ensuring the same is done by their employees
• Manages the daily activities, assigns tasks, and provides necessary information and communications in all Retail outlets
• Actively promotes the selling of merchandise and drives increased revenue through their own efforts and by providing training, information and support to their team
• Monitor and provide support for cash register operations; to include counting out and providing change for team members, maintaining their own cash drawer accurately as needed, and authorizing returns and exchanges in accordance with established policies
• Assists with training and coaching of new and existing employees; ensures all property required training is completed
• Conduct assigned audits, service observations, and prepare assigned employee performance evaluations
• Monitors the use of labor hours as scheduled and adjusts accordingly based on business demands
• Monitor and replenish merchandise stock levels to maximize sales, and monitor department supplies to ensure employees have all the tools to perform their duties
• Responsible for receiving and distributing daily shipments of merchandise and supplies; ensuring the highest level of accuracy
• Ensure asset protection precautions are executed by all Retail team members
• Assist with Store Inventories (and advance prep work) as scheduled and assigned
• Maintains a positive and productive rapport with their Manager, peers, Associates, other departments, vendors, and our corporate Retail partners
• Knowledgeable and able to assist the team with all equipment used in the department (registers, phones, calculator, and ticketing guns)
• Complete all department paperwork, reports and any assigned projects thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintaining cleanliness and established visual merchandising standards on the sales floor and cleanliness and organization in all storage areas and the back-stock room

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• The Retail Supervisor is upbeat, positive, and energetic
• Must be reliable and flexible; able to work any shifts requested to ensure adequate coverage for the department

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Previous Supervisory experience preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Health and Alcohol Awareness Card required

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively understand, communicate, read and write in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Accurate Money/chip handling**.**

COMPUTER SKILLS

Typing.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to 25 lbs.
• Push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and hear.
