About the job

Hendrick Toyota Concord

Location: 7670 Bruton Smith Blvd, Concord, North Carolina 28027

Pride in your work. A team that notices. A company built to grow with.

Hendrick Automotive Group — the nation's largest privately owned dealer group and a back-to-back winner of Automotive News' Best Dealerships to Work For — is hiring an Automotive Detailer at Hendrick Toyota Concord. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details others miss, and wants to be part of a winning team at one of the most respected names in the industry.

Every vehicle that leaves our lot represents the Hendrick standard — and our Detailers make that happen.

Previous detailing experience is a plus — but a strong work ethic and attention to detail matter most.

• Career growth within one of the largest privately owned dealer groups in the country.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean, detail, and refurbish new and used Toyota/preowned vehicles to dealership standards.

• Perform interior cleaning — vacuuming, shampooing, wiping surfaces, and deodorizing.

• Perform exterior washing, waxing, polishing, and paint protection treatments.

• Apply touch-up paint and minor surface treatments as needed.

• Ensure all vehicles are inspection-ready before delivery to customers.

• Safely operate vehicles within the dealership facility.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe detailing area.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on vehicle status.

• Follow all safety protocols and dealership guidelines.

• Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous detailing, car wash, or vehicle cleaning experience preferred — not required.

• Ability to work scheduled shifts including rotating Saturdays and holidays.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is based primarily in the designated detailing area and may extend throughout the dealership facility — indoors and outdoors. Regular interaction with team members and supervisors.

OUR CORE VALUES:

Servant Leadership · Teamwork through Trust & Respect · Integrity · Commitment to Customer Enthusiasm · Passion for Winning · Accountability at All Levels · Commitment to Continuous Improvement
