About the job
Waste Connections is looking to hire a Local Garbage Truck Driver at our site in Pflugerville, TX. The position will be responsible for driving a Residential Garbage Truck with another driver on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. This job is *extremely physical *taking turns working on the back of the garbage truck. You will be on a driver/driver team.
Monday-Friday 6:00am start time typically working a 10+ hour day with overtime pay. We also offer family benefits, 401k, and paid time off.
Job Requirements:
- Class A or B CDL
- Clean Driving Record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift 65 lbs throughout a 10+ hour shift.
