Floral Runner - Full Time (Caesars Palace LV)

About the job

The Floral Runner/delivery provides excellent customer service while overseeing the floral arrangements and ensuring they are areas are neat and clean and complies with visual standards. Floral Runner should be outgoing, upbeat, energetic, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with Nobu management, luxury management, and wedding teams to ensure visual standards are met.
• Care, maintenance, and handling of various flowers and foliage, indoor plants, and other items.
• Implement and maintain plans and goals of department as developed by management.
• Coordinates promotion of events and services
• Works with department personnel to review activities and operating procedures.
• Compliance of directives by hotel management outlining policy, program or procedure changes to be implemented.
• Delivers flowers and foliage to all teams located around the city.
• Periodically reviews and understands hotel policies and procedures as they apply to the position.

Qualifications

• Friendly, mature, outgoing personality.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene a must.
• Must interface effectively with management, employees and guests.
• Ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure/conflict situations.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a TAM (Alcohol Awareness), and Health Card where applicable

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Fast paced office - needs to be able to do more than one task at a time.
• Ability to perform reaching, stooping and /or crouching motions repeatedly
• Must be able to communicate verbally
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
