JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic Line Cook to help prepare the fresh, flavorful dishes Harrah's is known for. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced kitchen where teamwork, consistency, and attention to detail make all the difference.

Responsibilities

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and portion standards
• Work multiple stations including grill, sauté, fry, pantry, and prep
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation in compliance with SNHD and company standards
• Assist with daily prep, restocking, and proper food storage
• Follow food safety procedures including labeling, rotation, and temperature control
• Support opening and closing duties including equipment setup and breakdown
• Communicate clearly with chefs and teammates to ensure smooth service
• Deliver Family‑Style Service in every interaction with guests and team members

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid SNHD Health Card.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate, read and write in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills for measurements and portioning

COMPUTER SKILLS

None.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
