Overview:

*Sentara Halifax Regional Medical Center is hiring Food Services Workers *

Flexi schedule, as needed flexible scheduling

Food Service Workers are essential members of the food services team who offer support to the team and contribute in multiple ways, such as delivering nutritious meals and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. This position entails various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety and customer preferences

maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas

washing dishes

working as a cashier

meeting utility needs

and ensuring food safety standards are upheld.

Education

HS Diploma or Equivalent GED - Preferred. May have one year related experience in lieu of education.

Certification/Licensure

Food Handlers Card

Experience

One year related kitchen or food service experience - Preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.02 - $26.54 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
